He also helped start the first "real" fly shop in Boise, Idaho. In 1972, Bill started a professional outfitting and guide service in the resort of Sun Valley. Bill has been a key factor in identifying the insect hatches of Idaho and inventing fly patterns to match them. He has written many articles and contributed to other works on fly-fishing. Bill now spends most of his time with his wife and two children, still finding time for golf and his passion for fly-fishing.
